Edible Memoirs
Edible Memoirs is Madam Madam's signature dining experience, a series of intimate gatherings where food becomes a gateway to culture.
Each gathering centers a person and the knowledge they carry. Through cooking, conversation, and shared meals, guests learn the stories behind a dish, the ways it has been made and passed down, and the memories that live alongside it.
The experience is part cooking class, part dinner, and part living archive. Guests don't simply learn a recipe. They learn from the person who carries it.
Every dinner becomes another chapter in the living archive.
The people behind the recipes
Every gathering is rooted in someone who carries the knowledge. A mother, grandmother, auntie, elder, chef, or community member whose way of making something holds a story
Knowledge in motion
The goal isn't simply to preserve tradition. It's to keep it moving. To learn it, make it, share it, and give the next person something to carry forward.
Food as a record
Recipes can hold migration, memory, adaptation, celebration, survival, and family history. We use the table as a place to explore what food remembers
The table as archive
What happens around the table matters too. The conversations, questions, laughter, techniques, and memories become part of the record.
